N.I.F. número B23904261
I. Health condition and prohibited substances
At the end of each leg, the participant (runner) must follow the instructions of the organizers and cooperating staff, behaving in a way that does not endanger their own health, life or property, nor that of others.
The participant confirms that they may only take part in the race if they do not consume narcotic, psychotropic or similar substances. They also declare that their health condition is adequate for the physical demands of the race and that participation does not pose health risks.
The participant acknowledges the inherent risks of injury or damage involved in the race. All health risks are borne exclusively by the runner, and the organizer assumes no responsibility.
The organizer is not responsible for the health condition of participants nor for changes caused by participation in the race.
II. Minimum Age for Participation
Anyone who is 18 years old or older on the day of the race can register for the event. Participants under the age of 18 must present written authorization from their parent or legal guardian. This document must be signed and submitted when collecting the race bib, along with a copy of the signatory's ID. The organization may deny participation to any minor who does not meet these requirements.
III. Safety
The participant undertakes to comply with all applicable laws, in particular the Spanish Road Traffic Law (RDL 6/2015) and the General Traffic Regulations, as well as local municipal rules that may apply.
The participant must complete the race with proper equipment and clothing. During night stages, it is mandatory to wear a reflective vest or clothing with reflective elements, a headlamp, and a flashing light on arm or ankle to ensure visibility to other road users.
The participant acknowledges that the race is held on roads and trails open to normal traffic, without closures or restrictions, and may coincide with pedestrians, cyclists, forestry or agricultural vehicles, or third parties, as well as possible barriers or temporary limitations.
It is recommended that the participant take out personal insurance covering participation in the race, regardless of any insurance arranged by the organizer.
III Bis. Accident and Civil Liability Insurance
The organization will take out civil liability insurance and sports accident insurance for all properly registered participants. This coverage will meet the legally required minimum risks during the event. In any case, we recommend that runners have their own supplemental personal insurance to extend medical and assistance coverage.
IV. Medical Assistance
The organization will provide basic medical assistance services for participants at the start, finish, and at designated intermediate points along the route. The medical services team and the race's technical management will be authorized to remove from the race any participant who presents a clinical condition that could put their health at risk.
V. Personal data and image rights
By registering, the participant authorizes, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection, the processing of their personal data by CAMINO DE DRAGONES, SL, N.I.F. número B23904261, as data controller, for the purpose of managing and evaluating the race, sending information about this event, and communicating future events, without time limitation.
The controller may entrust third parties (e.g., timing providers, medical services) with data processing. Participants will be informed of their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time in writing to the organizer’s address.
The participant expressly consents to the transfer of personal data to healthcare providers if necessary.
By registering, the participant also grants the organizer the right to record, use, and disseminate photographs, videos, and audio recordings of their image or statements during the event, free of charge, for promotional and informational purposes by the organizer and sponsors.
VI. Further provisions
The participant understands that participation takes place under their sole responsibility, and that the organizer and collaborators are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses suffered by the participant or third parties.
Any damage caused by the participant to the organizer or third parties must be repaired by the participant at their own expense. No financial claims may be made against the organizer in case of accident or injury.
The organizer is not responsible for participants’ belongings, nor for the state of the race track, its surface, or external circumstances beyond its control.
The participant must follow the instructions of the organizer, technical staff, course supervisors, and competent authorities.
The organizer may exclude or disqualify any participant who fails to comply with these conditions or whose behavior endangers the safe conduct of the event.
The organizer reserves the right to amend rules, alter the route, or cancel the event before its start without compensation. Such decisions will be published on https://www.caminodedragones.es/.
By registering for the race, the participant fully accepts these conditions of participation. Registration for the event is personal and non-transferable and implies full acceptance of these regulations.
If a participant does not take part, the registration fee will not be refunded, unless the organization explicitly decides otherwise in cases of force majeure (e.g., race cancellation).
Changes of ownership of the bib number are not permitted, unless expressly authorized by the organization in advance within the established deadline.
